DG FENCING is a professional fencing and landscaping firm based in Wallingford, covering south Oxfordshire and the Thames valley.

DG FENCING is owned and operated by Dean Gibbins who has over 22 years of experience in the trade, working as a fencing contractor in both commercial and domestic settings, designing and installing high quality fences and managing large scale hard landscaping projects.

All types of fencing and landscaping jobs are undertaken from small fence repairs to full scale multi-trade garden re-designs. Extensive networking in the local construction industry means that DG FENCING is able to call upon reliable practitioners of other trades such as bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, horticulturists, and roofers if required.

Quality is always the number one priority, but not at the expense of affordability. My Story

'I was born in the north-east of England and lived an outdoor childhood in the Pennines, wandering the woods, building dens with friends, climbing trees, and playing by the river Tees (sometimes IN the river, much to my mother’s horror!). My family moved to High Wycombe when I was a young man, still at school and still unsure about the future. University never appealed to me because I still loved being outdoors and using my hands.

My first proper job was as an assistant gardener at a country estate while I was finishing my A-levels. The rest is of course history, and I have worked in many roles since then, sub-contracting as a fencer, working as a facilities manager and most recently as a landscapes manager for a company in the Thames Valley area.

I decided to set up DG FENCING nearly seven years ago, but I was waiting for the right circumstances before taking the leap. I took the leap in November 2015 and there is no looking back. I love my job deeply, I take pride in everything I do, I work to my own high standards and I don’t even mind the British weather.

I operate out of Wallingford in Oxfordshire and I cover south Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley. My black labrador Muttley is my sidekick and companion and normally comes to work with me, although I will always check that it’s okay with the client.
